alysa and lance got married in alpine california last november. it was the epitome of a fall wedding with gorgeous accents of maroon and some of the prettiest florals ever. their day was filled with laughs and love from so many friends and family that came to share in the event. alysa teased all day that lance had taken so long to finally marry her, they have been together for over 10 years! it just shows that their love is one that will last:)

alysa was amazing to work with because she let me have full reign of the schedule for the day based on how the lighting would look during each portion. we, of course, chose to have the ceremony just a little before sunset so that we would have perfect light for photos. she got ready in a gorgeous house with her bridesmaids and friends, and then we headed over to the ceremony location for the first look and family formals. i love being able to do the family formals before the wedding because it gave alysa and lance the freedom to let loose and relax after without stressing over taking photos. their reception was a party and their caterer was amazing. lance's dad gave one of the sweetest speeches i heard, and seeing lance cry over it made me well up a bit.

i did both photo and video for their wedding. it is so much fun being able to capture both because it shows the day in different ways and helps brides and grooms to remember how they felt throughout the day so much better. you can check out the video at the end of this post.
