family session / hjelmstads

as i finished uploading all of these pictures i realized that it is the third post in a row of pictures at the beach! i contemplated saving it for later, but i don't even care because i actually really love this shoot. i keep thinking that i'm sick of taking pictures for people at the beach, but then they always turn out so well that i just over it and am ready to do them again!

this family photo session was especially fun not only because it is the family of one of my best friends, but also because it turned in to a surprise engagement! i loved being there to capture all of the happy emotions that followed michael proposing to jenee on the beach. it was just such an amazing and joyful experience!
